How do I place an order with InStock Fasteners? All orders must be placed over the Internet and we encourage you to register with us before you start shopping. You may, however, browse our website without registering.
To begin shopping, all you have to do is: go to www.instockfasteners.com and click on the "Online Store" tab at the top of the Home Page. Next, provide information regarding the part you want to purchase in the "Detailed Search" section (for more help go to Detailed Search) or, if you have the InStock part number or a "key word", simply enter the number or word in the "Quick Search" box (for more help go to Quick Search); then, save the part or parts you want to purchase in your shopping cart by clicking on "Add To Cart". Repeat this shopping/selection process until you have found all the parts you are going to buy. When you are done, follow the simpleb steps to checkout.
The "Shopping Cart" page is where you select how you want your order to be shipped. In order to find the shipping costs, you must have your "Shipping Address" entered in the system. Because some carriers will not deliver orders weighing over 150 lbs to a residential address, it is essential that you properly indicate whether the shipping address is a residential or commercial address. If it is in the system, you choose the address using the dropdown menu on the bottom of the Shopping Cart page. If your address is not in the system, select the "Add A New Address" link, and enter the required information. When your address is in the system, click the "Select Delivery" dropdown menu, select the shipping service you prefer, select "Continue" on the Shopping Cart page and you will see your charges on the next page that shows up ? "Your Order" page. If you want to change your shipping service, simply click on the dropdown menu and make the change. To change the items or quantities you are ordering, simply go back to the "Shopping Cart" page.
You must have valid company account information on file or use a credit card in order to complete your checkout. The dropdown menu on the bottom of the "Your Order" page enables you to enter your method of payment, put a method on file, and add or change account information as well. Once done, click on "Continue" to move forward to the "Submit Order" page.
The Submit Order page gives you a last chance to accept, reject, or change your order. If everything is as you want it, click "Place Order" and your order will be accepted and placed in our system for fulfillment and delivery.
Do I have to register to order from InStock Fasteners?
You must register to place an order with InStock Fasteners. REGISTRATION IS FREE. You have to register only once, and is best to register before you begin shopping. If you wish, however, you may register after you finish shopping, but you must register before you checkout.
Whom do I contact if I have questions?

May I place orders by telephone?

What if I have a problem with my order?
In the rare circumstance where a problem may develop regarding an order, a telephone number at which you may reach InStock is provided on the Order Confirmation that is emailed to you following placement of your order.
What if I need to return something?
If you need to return all or some of the items you have received, just notify InStock Fasteners by email or by using the telephone number provided on your Order Confirmation.
If you need to return something due to an error on our part, we will provide you with the necessary documentation and instructions so that you may make your return at no cost to you.
If you placed an order for something you decide you do not want, we will provide you with the necessary documentation and instructions for you to make a return. All such returns must be made within thirty (30) days of receipt, using the original packaging. You will be responsible for return shipping fees via the carrier that delivered the items to you, the cost of shipping the items to you, and a 20% restocking fee. Upon receipt of your return, you will receive the appropriate credit to your credit card or to your InStock Fasteners account, whichever was used to make the purchase.
